Census Undercount Would Hurt Black Communities, Leaders Warn

    WASHINGTON — In a rare appearance all in one place, a coalition of America’s foremost Black organizations are aiming to assure that the 2010 census does not undercount Black people, a fiasco that could cause communities to miss out on their fair share of trillions of dollars in public resources and political representatives in Black districts.
