MARTA to Modify Weekend Rail Service to Accommodate Scheduled Track Work

Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Donates $10,000 To KIPP WAYS Academy To Support The Fine Arts Program
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson visited KIPP WAYS Academy on Wednesday, Feb. 16, to present a donation of $10,000 (average yearly budget excluding teacher salaries) to support the Fine Arts Program at the school. A fire ravaged this school in December destroying equipment, books and infrastructure. Along with the monetary donation, the Ringmaster also presented tickets to a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey show. Kipp Ways Academy now operates at 98 Anderson Ave., N.W. The circus played at Philips Arena from Feb. 17-21, and now goes to the Arena at Gwinnett Center from Feb. 24 – 27.
